AI research assistant for literature reviews, theses, and papers
Find, organize, and synthesize evidence across your research library. Build arguments grounded in your sources, with every claim traceable to the page that supports it.
Upload your papers or connect Zotero to get started.
Citations
Click a citation on the map to open it.
Tap a claim on the map, then its citations button.
Organize your thinking in a mindmap that evolves with your research.
Build a defensible mindmap with page-level citations.
Upload PDFs or send a Zotero collection. Agent Bayes reads every page, so you can search your library by meaning.
The agent writes one claim and pins it to every paper that supports it.
Ask for a new branch, or move claims yourself. The map grows as you read.
Save a version before each supervisor meeting, then see what changed.
Select a branch and ask for a paragraph. The citations come along.
Ask the agent to reshape the map into your paper's sections.
Click a citation to open the PDF at the exact page and passage.
AI verification scores how well the cited passages back your claim.
Search your papers by meaning and attach the passage you pick.
Agent Bayes answers from the papers you gave it.
Any field that writes from sources: history, public health, education, law, the sciences.
Map what your papers say about your question, where they agree, and where they do not.
Literature review workflowGrow one map across months of reading, then outline the chapter from it.
Outlining workflowAsk what your library leaves open, and see which papers come closest.
Gap-finding workflowThese three maps are public. Open one and click any citation to see the paper and page behind it.
Misalignment is an AI system's propensity to use its capabilities in ways that conflict with human intentions, values, or societal norms.
It cannot cite a source you did not add. Agent Bayes rejects any citation that is not a passage from your library. The agent can still word a claim loosely, so every citation opens the PDF at its page for you to check.
How search worksNotebookLM answers questions about your sources and shows the passage too. Agent Bayes is built for a long project: the findings become a map of claims you edit for months, with saved versions, Zotero sync, and conflicting findings kept as separate claims.
Your files and everything built from them are visible only to your account. Text goes to our AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google) only to run your task, and their API terms bar training on it. We do not train models on your research either.
Privacy policy, section 5Rules differ, so check your institution's policy. Agent Bayes works only on papers you add and shows the page behind each claim, so you can disclose exactly how you used it. Do not upload a manuscript you are peer reviewing.
50 credits every month once you verify your email. A 20-page paper costs about 7 credits to add, and a question usually costs a few, so that is about five papers and several questions. One library of up to 20 papers, Zotero sync, no card.
Compare plansStarter is $11 a month billed yearly ($132), with 600 credits a month, libraries of up to 50 papers, all AI models, and AI verification, which scores how well each passage backs your wording. Pro ($39 a month) and Max ($89 a month), billed yearly, add credits. Paid plans cancel anytime.
Cancellation and refund termsYes. Send a collection with the Agent Bayes plugin for Zotero, or upload PDFs directly. Scanned pages are read with text recognition, so older books and photocopies work too.
Zotero pluginArchaeoMind Ltd., a group of researchers and software engineers in Israel. We built Agent Bayes for our own literature work, where every claim has to trace back to the page it came from.
